Renowned lyricist Chatar Singh Parwana, who worked in the music industry for more than 4 decades, passed away. The veteran lyricist left this mortal world at seven o’clock on Wednesday morning. The news of his unfortunate demise was confirmed by Gurmeet Singh Sekhe (Barundi) tumbi maker and master Baltej Singh Saran (Pakhhowal) according to family sources.
According to the information received, he was currently living in the house of his daughter and son-in-law. Chatar Singh Parwana has written about 1000 songs. He has written many songs not only in Punjabi but also in Hindi. Despite being a famous artist, he was living a miserable life due to scarcity of money.
