Badshah had all the plans to reconcile his differences with Yo Yo Honey Singh. In a turn of indirect digs, recently Singh gave blunt responses about his plans on collaboration with Badshah.
Now yet again, Badshah revealed the reason he thought of ending the differences. He said, “It was a personal thing and it was about carrying around extra baggage. This was one of the distractions. Why do I need any of this animosity especially since this happened 12 years ago. Property disputes get solved in 101-2 years, He’s also a human and every human being keeps evolving.”
“What happened decades ago shouldn’t dictate my actions today and it would be so foolish. My vision is so different and I don’t want to bring myself down to a level where I’m nurturing this grudge. It was just a moment for me and it was a message for me to say that I’m letting go of things that mentally trouble you. It was a redemption and unburdening of sort,” he further added.
He continued by stating, “As a person I have never held a grudge against anyone ever, then why have I entertained this? I maybe held onto this beef because of the noise around me and somewhere what you’re fed sub consciously affects you and no one tried to mend the issue. This is for my mental peace and the greater vision I have for myself as an artist.”
“Subliminal shots are part of the culture but to give it so much importance, you shouldn’t do it. Though this beef has been a motivation for me. At one point though I felt the fuel is turning into a tumour and why am I letting something in my past dictate the future. I’m psychologically over a lot of it and I don’t let my actions be affected by the beef. In my heart and soul, I don’t want to respond or acknowledge the beef anymore. Let bygones be bygones,” he said on a concluding note.
