Director-actor Rishab Shetty’s for ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ is all set to have an unexpected collaboration. The upcoming action-thriller will feature a song by Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh.
A prequel to the critically acclaimed ‘Kantara’ (2022), this highly anticipated release enhances its pan-Indian appeal by seamlessly bridging cultural narratives through its music. Hombale Films is following a multi-language release strategy by distributing the movie in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, and English.
The inclusion of Diljit’s music aligns with the vision of celebrating Indian culture’s diversity through a rich cinematic experience. The singer’s involvement and ability to infuse cultural essence into his music resonates with audiences across India and beyond. The recording of the song is set to take place tomorrow at YRF Studios, Andheri, Mumbai.
B Ajaneesh Loknath has composed the film’s soundtrack and background score. Cinematographer Arvind Kashyap and production designer Vinesh Banglan, also form the creative team behind ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’.
