Punjabi singer Jazzy B has mired himself in a controversy. It has been reported that in Barnala, Bharati Kisan Union Lakhowal staged a protest by burning an effigy of Punjabi singer Jazzy B. Shedding light on the same, the protesters stated that International Women’s Day was celebrated on March 8 across the world.
Meanwhile, on March 10, Jazzy B released a song, in which he has used vulgar language towards women, which is highly disgraceful. He said that singer Jazzy B’s song ‘Marak Shokeenaan Di Tu Ki Janadi Bhede’ has been released. In the song, the women has been referred to the word sheep, which is extremely unfortunate. The protesters claimed that Punjabi culture is being maligned. Following which, their organization today protested and burnt the singer’s effigy.
In addition to this, Punjabi intellectuals and culture lovers have also been appealed to come forward in this regard and raise their objection to this song. The people of Punjab have also been urged by the protesters to boycott singer Jazzy B. He also said that a legal notice will be sent by Bharatiya Kisan Union Lakhowal to stop this song by Jazzy B. A complaint has also been sent to the National and State Women’s Commission in this regard. He also demanded the Punjab government to ban this song immediately.
