In 2016, Navneet Kaur Dhillon made a noticeable entry in the Punjabi industry with the hit movie Ambarsariya by Tips. It was the same year when the actress also made her debut in Bollywood with Loveshhuda. The same year another news broke that she was signed for Jaani (later called Ni Tu Jatt Di Pasand), a movie by Director Smeep Kang in which she was paired with Gippy Grewal, and the team was seen sharing on location videos from Mauritius. The movie hasn’t released yet, neither is there any update about it.
Navneet wasn't seen on the Pollywood screens after Ambarsariya and we didn't even get to hear much about her working in the Punjabi industry so we thought of asking her about her whereabouts. We contacted the actress exclusively and asked her about her future plans. She cleared our doubts by revealing that she has signed Punjabi movies which are yet to go on floor. She cannot reveal about them presently but she assures that the audience would be elated once they hear about the news.
Navneet also mentioned that soon she would be seen in a Bollywood project titled Ammawas, which is a horror movie. The movie also stars Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri and is directed by Bhushan Patel. Tentatively, the movie would go on floor this July.
When we asked the actress about her disappearance from the Pollywood screens after her 'BIG' debut then she said, "Good things take time. I want to come up with the best for my audience and I am in no haste for work. In 2016 I debuted in Punjabi film industry as well as Bollywood and since then I have been reading scripts. I have only signed those projects which I found meaningful. You’d get to know about them soon".
You were recently seen in Jordan Sandhu’s 'Bang Bang' music video..does that mean that you're re-entering Punjabi industry, but as a model??
"I am surely willing to do more music videos but this doesn’t mean that I am not doing any more movies. I am not just a model!
If I am offered a good song in which I have an interesting character, I would love to do it.
On that note, she signed off and we wished her luck for her future projects.
