Gurdas Mann's mother, Teji Kaur passed away at the age of 86, at their native town Gidderbaha.

Mann is often heard singing songs which reflect his affection towards his mother. Many a times termed as 'Marjana Mann' is a term which has been given to Gurdas Mann by his mother.
