Akshay Kumar recently confirmed Kesari 3, which will be based on the life of Sikh warrior Hari Singh Nalwa. The actor confirmed the same during the trailer launch of his upcoming film, Kesari Chapter 2.
The actor confirmed that the third part is in the works and revealed its subject. Kumar shared that the third installment will focus on the life of Hari Singh Nalwa, the first commander-in-chief of the Sikh Khalsa Fauj, the army of the Sikh Empire.
While talking about the film, he said, “You can watch this film and see how much effort we have put behind this film. We have not tried to portray in false information. Whatever is written in the book, we have tried to show that. Now we are planning for Kesari 3. I think we should discuss it today. We want to make it on Hari Singh Nalwa. We will try to show different stories of Punjab.”
Hari Singh Nalwa was a renowned Sikh commander and a key leader in Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s army. He served as the Governor of Kashmir, Hazara, and Peshawar, earning recognition for his remarkable victories against the Afghans.
The Sikh warrior played a pivotal role in the conquests of Kasur, Sialkot, Attock, Multan, Kashmir, Peshawar, and Jamrud. He was instrumental in expanding the Sikh Empire beyond the Indus River, extending its frontier to the mouth of the Khyber Pass.
