The Punjabi Industry has many underrated stars who have shown their brilliance in Bollywood and even international cinema. One such name is Amandeep Singh.
For those who are not familiar with Amandeep Singh, the actor was last seen in his international debut film ‘Hotel Mumbai’ alongside actors Anupam Kher, Dev Patel, and Armie Hammer. Amandeep got recognized internationally for his brilliant performance in the movie where he played the role of a young terrorist from Pakistan.
In a candid live chat with Ghaint Punjab Amandeep talks about Hollywood, Punjabi cinema, and much more.
After finishing his graduation in civil engineering Amandeep shifted to Mumbai and took acting classes. He also auditioned for several ads initially and struggled for a few years before he was finally offered ‘Hotel Mumbai’.
“Hollywood is a dream and acting is a spiritual journey”, says the budding actor. He shared that he felt blessed and fortunate to get a chance to share the screen with great international stars in his debut feature. Amandeep is passionate and determined for doing more projects in Hollywood.
When asked if he would like to work in the Punjabi film industry, the actor immediately said yes but added that he would like to do some productive work in Punjabi cinema whereby he can educate his audience on various subjects.
The bright actor is keener on doing meaningful and thoughtful roles via which he can leave a significant impact on his audience.
Amandeep shied away from sharing his future projects. But left a clue saying it can be either Hollywood or Bollywood. Ghaint Punjab wishes Good Luck to the young and bright aspiring actor for his future projects.
