Social media influencer Deepika Luthra from Amritsar has deleted her Instagram account after receiving threats linked to the recent killing of fellow influencer Kanchan Kumari in Bathinda. The threats reportedly came from Amritpal Singh Mehron, the main accused in Kumari’s murder, and other fringe outfits who had objected to Deepika’s social media content. A local court in Mansa has directed Balkaur Singh, father of slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, to respond by June 23 to an application filed by BBC World Service and its two employees. Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of YouTuber Kanchan Kumari, alias Kamal Kaur, Bathinda police Friday said.
