Singer-rapper Badshah recently opened up about his exquisite collection of shoes, the most expensive one worth Rs 22 lakh. He also spoke about the luxury cars he owns, but mentioned how no car can beat a Swift or an Innova.
During a recent interaction, Badshah was asked if he really has a collection of 500 sneakers. The singer corrected, “Not 500, 1,000. Or probably more than that. I only wear a few of them. The rest are just a part of a collection.
Talking about the most expensive shoe in his collection, Badshah shared, “I have a pair worth Rs 22 lakh. It’s a Nike Yeezy 2. Kanye West collaborated with Nike on it, but then he left. It was a very significant moment for pop culture, sneakerheads, streetwear… The shoe’s current market value is around Rs 22 lakh. But I bought it for around Rs 6 lakh. I will not spend Rs 22 lakh on a shoe for sure. I didn’t buy it as an investment, although lots of people buy watches, shoes, and bags for that reason. I bought that shoe because I’m a sneakerhead. The day I win a Grammy, I’ll wear that shoe.” Speaking about his luxury car collection, Badshah mentioned owning a Rolls-Royce worth Rs 8 crore. He clarified that the Audi he had was given to him by the car company for a year for marketing purposes. But, despite owning luxury cars, the singer-rapper said no car is as smooth to drive as a Swift or an Innova.
Asked if it’s fun to drive a luxurious car, Badshah replied, “Bakwas hai, Swift se badhiya koi gaadi nahi hai. Swift aur Innova se badhiya koi gaadi nahi bani.”
