Popular Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi is known for his iconic tracks like ‘Tunak Tunak’, ‘Balle Balle’ and ‘Kudiyan Sheher Diyan’ among others. He has represented Punjab at the global stage. Meanwhile, in a recent interview the veteran singer was asked if Punjabi artistes live in fear after the death of Sidhu Moosewala and attacks on Punjabi singers.
The singer bluntly shared his opinion stating that who talk about fear do so only to seek attention. He said, “Bilkul nahi. Koi fear nahi hai. Ye faltu ki baatein hai, apni taraf attention lene ki. Kis cheez ka dar? Itne ache log hain, aap acha kaam karoge… “
Mehndi said, “Yahan toh itne bure kaam karne vale log hai, vo bhi chale ja rahe hain. Lallu panju vo bhi gaaye ja rahe hain. Unko koi kyu nahi maarta? Inko bhi dhund dhund ke maar dena chahye. Itne gande gaane banate hai. Ye faltu ki baatein hain. Aisa kuch nahi hota. Bahot bahot Rabb ki meherbani ki aapko log pyaar karte hain. Par mujhe koi darr nahi,” he further added.
