.‘Expert Jatt’ singer Nawab has alleged singer and music producer Gur Sidhu of cheating. In a press conference held by the singer accompanied by lyricist Navi Ferozepurwala, Nawab claimed that they cracked a deal of 5 songs in January 2022. A payment of Rs. 7 lakh was made in advance, while 20% of the amount was to be paid after mix-mastered packaged songs were delivered.
He further revealed that in January 2022, the dummies of the songs were delivered within one week but the master was delivered in January for both the songs. When Nawab reached out to them through messages, Gur Sidhu ignored him for months.
The concern raised by the singer is that in 3 years only 2 mixed mastered songs were delivered, while a dummy of one song was delivered. During the conference, Nawab also shared chats with Sidhu and the losses he had to incur in the period.
On a concluding note, Nawab clarified that the fraud wasn’t just about monetary losses but also the bitter relations that he ended up having with the distributors due to delay in the songs.
