Lakha Sidhana, who has been one of the prime alleged accuse of the violence and vandalism that happened on Republic Day at the Red Fort, has appeared in farmers rally at Mehraj, Bathinda. He can be seen sitting on the stage and is expected to address the gathering. The rally is conducted by the farmers for the ongoing protest against three farm laws. It is pertinent to mention that Chief minister of Punjab, Capt. Amrinder Singh also hails from the same village.
Earlier, Delhi Police had announced a reward of one lakh upon his information. However, Lakha has reached the rally throwing an open challenge to the Police. Now it will be interesting to see if they arrest him or not. Punjab Police officials have denied any contact with Delhi Police in this regard.
