Famous director Karan R Guliani has changed his name to Paras. Sharing the news on his social media,he wrote, “As guided & suggested by my family Guru ji I am changing my name to Paras …I shall be known and call by this name now onwards.”

Paras is known for directing actress-producer Priyanka Chopra's production venture Sarvann starring Amrinder Gill, Ranjit Bawa, Simi Chahal, Amberdeep Singh with her home banner Purple Pebble Pictures. Apart from this he has also directed the romantic comedy Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh starring Gippy Grewal and Sargun Mehta.
