Punjabi singer turned politician Anmol Gagan Maan has recently been appointed as a cabinet minister in Bhagwant Mann’s Punjab government.

Let us tell you, Anmol is one of five Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs who became ministers in the Bhagwant Mann led-government in Punjab. She is also the second woman in the 15-member state cabinet. Mann who had won from Kharar by a margin of more than 36000 votes from her nearest rival, SAD’s Ranjit Singh Gill, aimed at making her constituency ‘Number 1’ in the state by carrying out overall development. Not only this, Anmol was also the lead singer of the AAP campaign, ‘Kejriwal Anthem’ ahead of the Punjab polls earlier this year.

It is great to see after CM Bhagwant Mann, another artist from the entertainment industry foraying successfully in the political domain. That’s a proud moment indeed!
