Randeep while talking to a leading daily stated, “The idea was to get rid of the cardboard image of Sikhs and their depiction which is usually just Balle Balle or butt of the joke or slapping thighs and flexing biceps which is not exactly what they are. Rather, Sikh people are very humble, spiritual, deep, cultured and mannered people. So, we’re trying to do that so part of preparation was getting to the bottom of that”.
