In a shocking turn of events, it has been reported that Sufi duo Nooran Sisters’ Jyoti Nooran’s car was attacked in Jalandhar while she was returning from an event. According to reports, Nooran was returning from a program near Wadala Chowk late at night when motorbike borne youngsters attacked the car near Guru Nanak Mission Chowk.
It has also been reported that, police has filed an FIR against three youngsters and one of them has been rounded up after the police received a complaint in this matter.
The ACP stated that the matter is currently being investigated. It is being alleged that when Jyoti Nooran was returning from her gig at Wadala Chowk late at night, they were not aware that bike riding youths were following her. The car was exiting Model Town via the Guru Nanak Mission Chowk when bike riding youths attacked her car. Jyoti and her husband were present in the car when the allegedly intoxicated miscreants attacked the car with sharp weapons.
An investigation is underway and the police are currently scanning the CCTV footage to find the trace of the accused. The held youth is currently under interrogation.
