Shalini Passi, a Delhi-based art collector and patron, has been generating immense popularity ever since her stint in the Bollywood web-show, Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives. While the internet is starstruck to see her lavish life, not many of you might know about her Punjabi connection.
During a recent interview, Passi revealed that her grandparents were from Pakistan and her grandmother was a Sikh. She said, “My grandparents came from Pakistan and my great grandfather was aryasamaji. He started the aryasamaj mandir in the Pusa road and my grandmother was Sikh. I was very close to them. My grandfather constructed the vayu bhawan, DD building, Palika Bazaar. So my parents were into constructions and they were builders and contractors.”
