Legendary singer Kuldeep Manak’s grandson, Hassan Manak has mired himself in a controversy. It all started when a woman named, Mandeep Kaur introduced herself to be Hassan’s first wife and alleged that her husband has gotten married for the second time. Hassan, on the other hand has denied all the allegations.
There was uproar in Banga of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district in Punjab over the second marriage of Hasan Manak alias Manak Khan, sister-in-law of famous singer Kuldeep Manak. A woman named Mandeep Kaur, who claims to be Hasan Manak’s first wife, has made these allegations. While on the other hand Hasan Manak has denied the allegations of marriage.
Mandeep Kaur, resident of Bathinda district, said that her marriage with Hasan Manak took place in July 2022. She filed a complaint in Banga police station about Hassan’s second marriage stating that her husband Hasan Manak assaulted and locked her in the house. She alleged that her husband got married to a UK girl for the second time in the Banga Keguru house against her will.
Kaur claimed that the wedding took place inside a Guru house in Banga., while Hassan denying all the allegations stating that it is just their domestic dispute.
Meanwhile, Baba Gurmesh Singh of Gurdwara Sahib who has been serving in Gurdwara Panth Sahib Banga revealed that Hassan got married on November 23 with Jaspreet Kaur. He went on reveal that before Anand Karaj, both of them got married in Anmol Palace and Anand Karaj took place in Gurudwara.
He stated that the ceremony was attended by 25 to 30 people and that its registration is to done by the Gurudwara.
DSP HS Randhawa said that Kaur has accused Hassan of second marriage and now both the parties have been called in this matter. DSP said that no evidence of marriage has come to light yet. He said that mutual talks have taken place between both the parties. At present the matter is under investigation. Whatever facts come to light, action will be taken accordingly.
