Mandeep Chahal is a well-known film director of the Punjabi film industry who lives in Mumbai. Some of you may not know him by name, but you would definitely be familiar with his work. He has delivered films like ‘Munda Faridkotia’ and ‘Arjan’.
Although his former movie could not do well at the box office, Mandeep is committed to keep working and entertaining the audiences. When asked about the reason behind the failure of the movie, Chahal admits that it was his fault that he could not connect the movie storyline with its audience.
Chahal talks about Prince’s vanity demands
In a lively live chat with Ghaint Punjab, Mandeep Chahal talks about his working experience as a director with Roshan Prince. The director has worked back to back on two movie projects (Munda Faridkotia and Arjan) with the actor. Reaching late on shoots, throwing temper on sets is not uncommon among famous actors across the entertainment industry. Thankfully the director had no such experience with Roshan Prince. ‘‘He was very easy to work with’’, says Chahal.
When asked about the rumors of Roshan Prince’s weird demands on special food preferences on the movie sets, the director clarifies that it’s not at all true. Chahal clears the misconception about Prince. He rather shares that he has not seen a more cooperative and supportive actor like Prince.
Also, he recalls an incident when the actor canceled his suite in a hotel and booked a single room along with other team members of the movie. Chahal says Prince is a gem of a person and very down to earth human being with no starry tantrums.
