Actor and singer Parmish Verma has had an interesting journey in the industry. In a recent interview, he spoke about the life he’s led so far, and how he has made a good life for himself. Verma also commented on the 2018 shooting incident in which he suffered a leg injury. The 34-year-old shared that life’s meaning changed for him after the incident.
Verma said he re-set his life from that point. The ‘Gaal Ni Kadni’ singer shared that incidents like these make one take a step back and asses what’s important and what’s not in life.
When asked how the incident affected him, he said, “When something like that happens, you are put to a halt. You are in this void. You are by yourself, and you can’t really get out of it right away.”
He added that it took him some time to completely heal himself emotionally. “Your physical wounds will heal, but mentally, you are still in this void. It obviously takes such a toll on you that you can’t really talk about it. But, that was a good time for me to assess my life, to recalibrate. A lot of things that I didn’t really value as much. I started valuing them. There were a lot of things that I was valuing a lot, which lost sense. The meaning of life changed for me,” he explained.
Verma refused to divulge more about the incident, but shared that it brought an indelible transformation to his life. “I started living more. I became more goal-oriented. I became very focussed in a very different way,” he concluded.
