Punjab chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Bhagwant Mann and his wife, Dr Gurpreet Kaur welcomed a baby girl on Thursday. In an official announcement made by the CM on his X (formerly Twitter), it has been revealed that both mother and child are healthy. According to reports, the mother-daughter duo is currently admitted at a Mohali hospital.
“ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਬੇਟੀ ਦੀ ਦਾਤ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀ ਹੈ..ਜੱਚਾ-ਬੱਚਾ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਤੰਦਰੁਸਤ ਨੇ..” read the post on Mann’s social media. Minutes later, a photo was also shared revealing the newly born’s face and the caption alongside read, “Blessed with baby Girl..”
Mann has two children from a previous marriage, a son and a daughter. Mann, a former comedian and actor who has appeared in several films, married Dr Gurpreet Kaur in 2022 after he got separated from his first wife, Inderpreet Kaur, in 2015.
