Sidhu Moosewala
Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead in the broad daylight on May 29, 2022, at village Jawarkhe. The unfortunate incident left his fans shocked globally. Not just one or two, nearly thirty bullets were fired at the singer. The singer was known for super hit songs like Legend, Goat, Same Beef among others.
Amar Singh Chamkila
It was the tragic afternoon of March 8, 1988, when the tragedy struck in Mehsampur after Chamkila with his wife Amarjot along with their companions were ambushed by a group of motorcycle riders as they exited their vehicle. The attackers opened fire at the couple, leaving them with fatal injuries alongwith their associates.
The incident was attributed to Sikh militants, yet no arrests have been made till date and the shocking murder mystery remains unsolved till date.
Navjot Singh
Next one on the list is Navjot Singh, who was killed at the age of 22. The youthful vocalist was found dead in Dera Bassi town. The slain singer was said to be the victim of the brutal attack, who succumbed to multiple gunshots wounds inflicted at close range.
Dilshad Akhtar
Next one on the list is Punjabi singer Dilshad Akhtar, who reportedly lost his life in 1996. The tragic circumstance unfolded during a wedding event in a village in Gurdaspur. In addition to this, Bollywood actor Dharmendra’s cousin Virendar Singh was also fatally shot dead at the age of 40 while he was shooting for a movie in Ludhiana in 1988.
