It has been two years since Sidhu Moose Wala was murdered. Today, on the occasion of their son’s second death anniversary, the slain singer’s mother, Charan Kaur and father Balkaur Singh took to their social media to post heart-breaking notes in their son’s remembrance.
Sidhu’s mother wrote, “ਸ਼ੁੱਭ ਪੁੱਤ ਅੱਜ ਪੂਰੇ 730 ਦਿਨ 17532 ਘੰਟੇ 1051902 ਮਿੰਟ ਤੇ 63115200 ਸੈਕਿੰਡ ਗੁਜ਼ਰ ਗਏ ਆ ਪੁੱਤ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਦੀ ਦਹਿਲੀਜ ਲੰਘੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅਰਦਾਸਾਂ ਤੇ ਮੰਨਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁੱਚਾ ਫਲ ਢਲਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਡੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਗੁਨਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਣੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਕੁੱਖ ਚੋ ਖੋਹ ਲਿਆ ਤੇ ਪੁੱਤ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਸ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਉਮੀਦ ਦਾ ਸੂਰਜ ਚੜਨ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਖੁਦ ਉਮੀਦ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਬੇਟਾ ‘ ‘ਗੁਰੂ ਮਾਹਾਰਾਜ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸੋਚ ਤੇ ਸੁਪਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਕਿਫ ਸੀ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪੁੱਤ ਮੇਰਾ ਪੁੱਤ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਬਖਸ਼ਿਆ, ਬੇਟਾ ਮੈਂ ਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬਾਪੂ ਜੀ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਿੱਕਾ ਵੀਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਇਸ ਜਹਾਨ ਵਿੱ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਾਂਗੇ ਬੇਸ਼ੱਕ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਦੇਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੀ ਪਰ ਮਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ ਆ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੋ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋ ਕਰਦੀ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਆ ਪੁੱਤ ਅੱਜ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਬੜਾ ਔਖਾ ਪੁੱਤ ।”
In addition to this, Sidhu’s father also posted for a heart-wrenching post seeking justice for their son’s killing.
Furthermore, Sidhu’s father also revealed during a media interaction that the family is hosting an intimate religious gathering at the singer’s house. He then urged fans not to travel from outside Moosa, Sidhu’s hometown.
“There will be a very simple program tomorrow because there are elections and temperatures are very high. We have told people outside to not come here, only the people of the village and family are coming. Public has been told to not come…Only the religious rituals will be performed,” Sidhu Moosewala’s father said.
