JJP’s secretary general Digvijay Chautala said the party had planned to install a statue of late singer Sidhu Moosewala in Dabwali. He said the statue would be ready within two months and would be sculpted once the Dabwali administration accepted their request for land to install it.
Digvijay said he had already taken the permission of Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh, who, he said, had also agreed to unveil the statue. The JJP leader highlighted Moosewala’s journey from a modest background to national fame and called him an inspiration for the youth. He said he was of the belief that the statue would motivate the youth in Dabwali too.
