Slain singer Sidhu Moosewala’s parents welcomed their second child, nearly two years after the demise of their son. The parents of the singer were blessed with a baby boy again through IVF technique. Just a couple of days later it has been alleged that the parents of the singer have violated IVF rules to conceive the baby whereas the father of the son says he’s being harassed by the Punjab government. 1.Charged under Arms Act
Back in May 2020, the singer was seen in a video where he was seen being trained to use an AK-47 with the help of two police officers, who were later suspended. Sidhu Moosewala was booked fewer than two sections of the Arms Act but was absconding.
2. Controversy over “Sanju” song
A month later, he was charged again following window glasses tinted darker than allowed. He was also charged for his song titled, “Sanju”, where he compared himself to Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt.
3. Controversy over “Jatti Jeone Morh Wargi” song
His highly popular song, “Jatti Jeone Morh Wargi” was looked at with contempt and termed inappropriate by Sikh leaders as it mentioned the name of Mai Bhago, a 17th-century Sikh warrior woman. Moose Wala later apologized on social media and in March 2020 appeared before the Sikh religious body Akal Takht in a hearing over the incident.
The Unfortunate demise
The singer-turned-politician was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Jawaharke village in Mansa district of Punjab on May 29, 2022, Sunday, a day after the Punjab government curtailed his security cover in connection with an emergent law-and-order duty. The Punjab police had cleared that it was a temporary move.
