The highly-prestigious Cannes Film Festival has been quite a gala event witnessing the gracious presence of several international and Bollywood celebs. In addition to this, this year Punjabi community couldn’t be happier seeing beloved Punjabi singer Sunanda Sharma making her debut appearance.
Another name that has dazzled the Red Carpert of Festival De Cannes 2024 is the popular social media sensation and culinary artist, Sanjyot Keer. Sharing the elation over the same, the Punjabi lad dropped a couple of pictures on his social media and wrote a long note.
He expressed, “Festival de Cannes 2024 To be honest I am usually not someone who likes to put my self out there, I am relatively a very shy person, it actually took me years to even come in front of the camera when I began creating videos. I rather believe in speaking through my work as a culinary artist than how I look or be in the forefront. But I do realize that everyone does not get such opportunities to be amongst a few from your country to be invited on such global platforms and when you get one you have to put yourself out there to be spoken about, to let more people know what you do and you stand for.”
“After all for me it has always been about promoting our Indian cuisine through the power of visual story telling and that journey continues. I want this to be a celebration for the Indian chef community back home that strives so hard every day. I am going to continue to let people know how incredible Indian cuisine is through my work,” he further added.
“Initially walking the red carpet was a bit anxiety inducing but it felt nothing short of amazing to experience cinema in all its glory. It’s a great year for Indian Cinema which is being presented well this year at the Cannes Film Festival. Grateful to all of you to be a part of my journey and supporting me throughout, I wouldn’t have experienced this without you all being by my side. Gratitude,” he wrote in conclusion.
