Popular rapper-singer Yo Yo Honey Singh teased with his upcoming biopic earlier this year. Now finally streaming giant Netflix has announced the premiere of the docu-film which is titled, Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous.
Directed by Mozez Singh and produced by the Oscar-winning film producer Guneet Monga under her production banner Sikhya Entertainment, the feature will debut on December 20 on Netflix.
The film delves into the life of Honey Singh, who was originally named Hirdesh Singh. It promises to offer an unfiltered glimpse into the singer-rapper’s meteoric rise, struggles, fall, and triumphant return to the music scene.

Talking about his documentary, Honey Singh had earlier stated, “I have spoken about my personal and career issues in the media before but I’ve never been able to bare it all. I have received tremendous love from my fans, and they deserve to know the whole story. This Netflix docu-film will give everyone an honest and sincere account of my life, my upbringing, where I’ve been and my current journey to return stronger.”
